Stage 1-2 will begin rapidly, with Sonic emerging from a portal and running at breakneck speed. Navigating Stage 1-2 Key 1: Reach The Goal Dispatch them easily using your homing attack. Further, both victories earn Sonic a “gear” that we’ve come to understand help unlock the more traditional stages in the game. In both scenarios, a little white line (like some sort of spider-sense) appears to show Sonic when an enemy is about to unleash an attack. In the following encounter, Sonic fights a towering drill enemy, breaking its lower segments and avoiding a spinning ring the enemy uses like a hammer. Sonic performs homing-attacks on a bipedal blade-wielding enemy, and counters its defensive move with some sort of rapid swing to get behind it.
